Count me in, if I can help out somehow once I get back to PA. I wanted to do something like this during the summer, but didn't end up getting to. So, I'd love to help. Even if it's just sharing my AG patterns so someone else can make a nice dolly wardrobe.

For time spent on each child, I kind of like the Hi Yo Silver Away! approach. You come in, do something nice and leave before anyone really knows who that masked person was.

Thank you to everyone who has offered their support...if we all give a little it will add up to a lot!
The site is progressing quite well. Many thanks to Nevtal, who will be creating the reccomendation forms, and Caroline (not on this board, but I think she deserves credit), who will be creating the banner for our site and for links on other people's sites...she is very talented so I know it will turn out well.
I hope to "unveil" the site by next week. It will include all the detaile dinformation we have been discussing, as well as a few things I've decided on my own.
If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please let me know by either PM or replying to this thread.
Thanks again so much,
Lindsey
Also, I would like to add that our Board of Directors is as follows:
President: Lindsey (me)
Director of Personal Relations: Gomunk
Director of Recommendations: Annika (MuppetQuilter)
I still need a Director of Fundraising! She would be in charge of charity auctions, drawings, contests, etc., as well as ideas for future fundraising ideas.
PM me if you would like to do this.

OK, so we still need a Director of Fundraising, so I suppose I can assume those duties until someone else volounteers.
So, I've been adding the costs of everything and my goal for these girls is around $200/$250...hey, it's just a goal.
As we don't really qualify to sell as a charity until the IRS gives us 5013C status, and I think we should wait to apply for that until our site is up, I've contacted Ellen Brothers, and our first project is complete, it looks like regular auction will have to do for now.
So who has what to donate for auction to benefit these girls? Let me know!

Question time... are we donating an AG outfit or did you want us to sell the outfit and donate the money?
It might be fun to post pictures of items we wish to sell for this charity drive here first. Sell to each other and then use the funds to purchase the dolls for your DOLL project.
I don't have pictures yet but am going to list on e-bay soon. Could do it here first and then select an outfit and earmark it for your project.
Please let me know. DH has my camera tonight at the football practice but I will work on it tomorrow if my son sleeps late. Need a date for deadline.
Thank you, ^j^ Mrs. C.
PS. I do have a list and they are complete retired AGOT outfits.

Unless someone totally objects to it, I think we'll sell the outfits, accessories, whatever and donate the money towards what we're purchasing for the girls.
Also, just a thought, we would probably get more money if we sold on ebay rather than the board.

I don't know, Lindsey. If I make up several of those Princess Leia outfits... you might make more money on the board than on e-bay.
I'll wait for your AG Hugs site to be announced and follow the directions and ship the outfit to be auctioned to you.
Patience is a Jedi trademark that I need to practice. ^j^ Mrs.C.

Do we want to do just a Board auction for the Molly Victory garden outfit? I think quite a few members would be interested in it.
